That's all folks...
After going all over the shop lately for pics, it was nice to hit the Peak again. Forecast was looking good and the chances of an inversion were good. Not the best one by any stretch of the imagination but it was certainly atmospheric.

He's superhuman don't you knowhow the hell did you get that distance in time for the shot?

PMSL, so unlike me to misinterpret a postI think he meant where am I in the pic but yes, Mam Tor is the location.
They don't make you superhuman, but certainly make you super somethingI wouldn't say that, I don't have a cape. Perhaps an undone lab coat would work?
Cheers dude. I wouldn't go that far though.

Yes i did .
It's quite easy, set the timer on 20 seconds, number of shots to 9 and the time in between each frame to 3 seconds and you get a fair amount of time to get the shot. This was shot in portrait orientation and is a 5 shot pano. The tiff file is 1.8gb
Even so you must have legged it to get that distance
More of a Dad run than legging it mate.
Really nice that I assume you shot 'through' something?

It looks like when you take a photo on your phone but leave your finger on the lens.
Love high key
Awesome stuffBeen working on a mono version of this shot for a while, I knew how I wanted to portray it but not sure I quite got there with it...

Looking at this on laptop with my better half sitting next to me, she had a quick look at picture and asked why that gentleman was standing so close to the edge, well she said something similar to that anyway.Been working on a mono version of this shot for a while, I knew how I wanted to portray it but not sure I quite got there with it...

The pose and the light on the last one are real nice.
why not,I like it but do you like it?Ok, cool, thanks. It does look quite dark now. Meh.

Depends what you're going for. For my taste it could do with an exposure bump, but it still works as it is imo.Yeah I like it, just wondering if it looked ok to everyone else? I think the white background on the site makes it look darker than it is hence why it looks ok on Flickr. I'll take a look at it on my Mac and see how it holds up to some others.
