Lovely little camera, have fun! Wanted one for sometime.
It has been on my radar for a while now, i kept going back and reading reviews and looking at videos so decided to take the plunge with this one.
My extension tubes arrived for the Hasselblad today, and they are quite fun to use! Had a go at taking photos of various small bits of the veg patch and hopefully even a bug or two! Takes some practice using mind! I feel a personal project thread coming on if they come out ok...
I would post a photo of them but I've ditched my smartphone so I can't!
I added my full set of extension tubes to the Pentax M 100/4 semi-macro lens, and found it almost impossible to use. Needs to be on the tripod, but focusing with the helicoid was pretty much impossible, and getting focus by moving the tripod was pretty unlikely! When the pics came back there's a heck of a vignette too. Just using 20mm of tubes seems to have worked better. It IS fun though, isn't it?

All on its own? Because it is welcome to arrive here as well.
Me too. Been lusting after an M6.
I nearly went for an M9, but the M6 was the right choice. I have wanted one for ages, and it will out last an M9.
It is going to have to work hard to knock my 35RD or SP off of top spot!
Oh flippin' heck!
I am so impressed with the Rollei 6003 Pro that I recently purchased, in fact it is the nicest camera I have ever used and the results from it 'blow me away' that I have only gone and purchased it's 'big brother' - the 6008AF. This was the last of the 6000 series cameras produced by Rollei and has every conceivable option available - I can't wait to start using it
My newest toy - Wirgin Edixa 2MTL (actually, it is a Cosina Hi-Lite DLR rebadged for the failing Wirgin comany). All works well apart form the meter. I have not checked the meter yet as I do not have a suitable battery. The meter is a bridge type meter so the voltage of the battery is not going to be critical but I just do not have any button cells available at the moment. Definitely a well loved camera!

It is very reminiscent of a Soviet Zenit camera.Looks like it could stop a few bullets!

You could always use a flash bracket?I had one, loved it, got some great result from it. I couldn't get used to the flash being underneath, it produced some odd results and using it upside down was awkward. Mind you, I didn't use the flash that often anyway.
Careful Todders, the Feds are cool but if the rangefinder bug bites it can get quite expensive [emoji39]some more goodies from west yorkshire cameras today. Fed4 and Voightlander Vito B both with cases very impressed.

That's a nice clean looking example btw. If it shoots as well as it looks you'll get some good images from that Industar.
Hah I was referring more to the lure of the red dot than to the price of film. The Leicaflex SLR's are certainly tempting and a lot more affordable than the M's. My last SLR purchase was a toss up between the Leicaflex SL or the Nikon F2. I bought the F2 but I can't help but wonder what I've missed out on.Thanks Matthew yes its becoming expensive with film as it is, iam looking at Leicaflex models for my next purchase
