Thought I'd stick this one of my cat in here. Taken a couple of days ago as he soaked up the rare bit of sunshine we last last week. :D

" Cheese" just one of the many stray cats we've adopted -loved by everyone, even self-professed cat haters brought him treats while he was ill...I was lucky to catch him pondering his next outrage..

As a newbie I thought this would be a nice place to show you one of my first photos and to introduce you to a member of my family, my very naughty dachshund Maisy Moo. She is not amused at having her photograph taken and this can be seen by the 'oh please!' look she gives me!

Keeping watch from her favourite spot on the back of the couch

What a great thread this is. I have enjoyed looking at each and every one of the photos on here. My wife and I are both animal lovers, and we want you to say hello to Bumble. We raised her from being an abandoned little thing with hardly any fur, hand feeding her through a syringe (Luckily we had help from my Daughter who is a Veterinary Nurse). She was only a couple of weeks old when we got her, and now she is 9 years old. A few years ago she went missing for a whole six months. We presumed she had been run over and died somewhere. Then, one day, she came running over the back garden, came into the kitchen, and demanded to be fed. I have no idea where she had been, but she never goes far out of the garden now.

A few of Jazz. :)

Got her as a rescue dog around three years ago, maybe three and a half. The biggest softie ever, whinges for ages! This was on one of the hottest days last year after she'd run around the garden for half an hour - she was so tired she sat still for a moment or two.

Glen 2 yr old BC. A typical "worky" lad, loves agility and also pulls my bike when we go out for bike rides (very useful here, lots of hills :))

I must say Glen looks the picture of health, with lovely bright eyes and an alert look about him.

Popped to the breeders today to see our new puppy which we will be bring home in two weeks time!

When I say popped it was a 200 mile round trip! don't ask why it was the wifes idea ;-)

I actually want to do a shot like Doofer's excellent low key portrait.

I am collecting my new rescued tri-coloured King Charles Cavalier (Milly) on friday. Only a couple od days left before she was going to be put to sleep. We haven't even seen her yet as my Daughter(who is a vet nurse) picked her for us and has her at her house (70 miles away). She has had her neutered, and she needs a couple of days of T.L.C. before we bring her home. Really looking forward to getting her. I will post a pic as soon as my camera comes back from Canon (A/F fix and oil clean up).
