very nice shots..
I use a gimbal. Works great. Prefer it to my ball head.So I decided to go for the contemporary and its come today! lets hope the weathers kind tomorrow.
I think for just general walk abouts ill be fine using it hand held but for a full days shooting ill carry my monopod, what heads are most people using for these?
a gimbal seems over the top for a monopod, I've got just a normal ball head for it at the moment which ill try for a few days but wondered what everyone else was using?
Brilliant shots. Great to see something different with this lens.Everyone's got some great shots in here that really show the versatility of this lens. Gives me the excuse to give this one an airing in another part of the forum...............

I use a lensmaster gh2 on my monopod. I now use the monopod for around 90% of my shots. Is that on a monopod mainly?
What gimbal out of interest? I'm tempted to try the cheepy bk45

3rd one is spot on! Very nice, but first 2 are a bit soft. Have you tried sharpening in pp?A couple of pics from my trip down to St Marys reserve the other day.

Was looking at the moon earlier when I was out with the dog. Did think about getting the camera out, but tea was ready when I got back.
Looks great considering its shot through glass.Bought another one Friday, this is my third one now after chopping and changing after Heart Attack. Going to keep it I hope unless the Lotto comes in!
Little test with D500 taken through kitchen window double glazing, so pleased with result. I have just updated the FW through the dock and no other changes made until I have given it a better test, over the next couple of weeks.
