These are the access to the Promenade Plantee, Paris at Rue Montgallet.
The promenade is a 4.7km elevated garden walkway along the route of an old railway line, well worth doing if you are in Paris.
It really was that bright on a blisteringly hot day this July, temp was around 32c, felt even hotter though.
