A couple of shots with the X30 from my latest adventure earlier tonight.
This is the Bone Hole in Cheddar Gorge, and we were privileged to be taken to a newly discovered part of the cave.
12m ladder in West Rift - the X30 only managed to get about half of it, there were two people holding lights below the shot and a long long way still to go up.
This is a 1/2
second hand-held exposure and it is pin sharp - unbelievable!
This chamber was only discovered in Jan this year and the walls are coated with Moonmilk, a delicate crystal coating that isn't that common.
One day I'll get back there with the big camera and do this proper justice; this was really just a lightweight reccie trip for which the X30 proved perfect.
