Well... here are a couple of mine, just cropped... I wish they were much sharper, but for first go, I'm still relatively pleased with them

Pics are great DK, it didn't help with the wind and they're great for a first effort - are you hooked now!! There must be plenty of beaches your way you set fire to!!

Number 1 is class, wish i had left the curry and gone straight to the sentinel

Love number 2 wool shot, turned out miles better than mine.

I must admit the bloke in this shot was very good............ oh yeh it was me.

Yeah - good spinning Darren. In fact I think that first spin was the best of the night although I would have loved to have been closer to those wayward sparks flying towards the camera.

You can get closer, just need to make sure you have a UV filter on just in case any sparks hit the front of your lens.

I made a school boy error having my ISO set to high, i normally have it at 100 or 200 as a rule.

I didn't go to the convention but did head up to St Anns for the night time fun on the beach.

We used a brillo pad for this one to make the thing pink?

What happens when the cage stops going round in a circle and hits part of the sentinal

I like how it iluminated the sentinal this one

super long exposure 2 minutes I think at F8 maybe F11

Looks like it was really good fun.

Would have liked to have been there but it clashed with Northern SBT Rescue Big Weekend and as I am one of the main organisers for that I had to be there.

Shame because it would have done me good to take photographs of people for a change.
