Common Snipe was good to see instead of just hearing them :)

But the highlight of the evening was this Spotted flycatcher :)

Not quite today but yesterday, considering they were not long ago in decline, we have literally hundreds.

A couple from Anglesey this weekend.

Chough and Sandwich tern were a first for me. The Buzzard was a grab shot, spotted whilst driving down a country lane, very inconsiderate with its choice of perch! :D

Yes, got chatting to a couple taking shots of the Chough at South Stack and they recommend Cemlyn Bay for the Terns, great spot (y)
 
1st record shots of the Long-eared Owlets this year, 3 had branched and hunger calling at this site last night . So far we have 6 successful nest sites with still more to check :)

Settings at the extreme, 1/320th, f6.3, ISO 22,800, handheld
