We are currently dicussing a Talk Spot forum (amongst others) so starting non photo threads in the sports photo sharing forum isn't really helping, especially as this is the one place these threads will definitely not be going. Moving this one to Talk Photography for now.

Here's my little list

Equestrian - dressage, showjumping, showing, cross country, funrides.

Motorsport - track days, drifting, bike sprints, rallying, safaris.

Cycling - roadies, trials, trails, ramps, downhill, dual slalom
 
Blimey Kipax, that's quite a list. Serious question, do you know all those sports or are experienced enough to cope.

I ask because I used to play football, spent a few years taking photo's of our pub football team, then switched to rugby when my lad started playing. Totally different ball game and it took me about a year to understand the game and anticipate the shot.

Actually, Bog snorkelling was very difficult to get a good shot of. Ended up using the nifty fifty for a competitor "surfacing"...she had very blonde hair that was all over her face.

Looked very good actually with such a shallow DoF. Just goggles in focus with muddy bedraggled look. Bloody competitive as well!
