Yesterday I finally managed to get a photograph of a Kingfisher :). It's a shot I've always wanted and as soon as I got the shots I said "Well that's one off my tick list"

So what's on your tick list? By that I mean your list (real or in your head) of shots you really want to take but haven't managed yet

Not got a proper list per se, but

a couple of owls and BOP, probably captive will have to suffice
M42 (not the motorway the Nebula in Orion)
The Moon (at 2000mm focal length, assuming I can actually get focus) and a varierty of other Astro targets.

A shot of the earth from space taken by me, is what I am likely to miss off my list of would like to shoot.

A few, but the two main ones a decent Green Woodpecker; got some, but nothing I'm really happy with, and a Kingfisher. All I have of that one is a blurred, blue flash

One of the kingfishers on the river where I work, the ones with no rings on thier legs...........:naughty:

And one of the otters.

No real list other than that, would love to go back to Norway on my own though and go right up north........

Great Wall of China
The Pyramids
Most of Rome
Wild Bears

And many many more!

The Taj Mahal at a clear dawn or dusk (it was grey when we went there!:)), the Lakes in Autumn sunshine (it was grey when we went there! :)) - I'm sure there are loads more :)

Shuttle Launch (not many years left for that one ...)
Northern Lights
Tornadoes
Iceland

A wedding in a stunning location in Europe with a few hours for photos in beautiful light. Would make a nice change to the local registry office and a reception in the skittle alley of the Duck & Grouse

Ive always wanted to get a really great jump shot of an artist, the best oportunity ive had so far i came out with a crap shot..

Got the shuttle launch. I was on the roof of the nearest rooftop vantage point to the launch site as the guest of a mission specialist from a previous flight.

This was in my film days about 18 years ago.

I'd like the time to shoot the things on my tick list!

I'd love more time to shoot landscapes and seascapes. I'd love to get my fave model in a wedding dress (I bought her one to shoot and have not been able to get the time off!) I'd love to spend more time in the studio, again time is the problem.

Grrrrr!

Fast jet air 2 air.
Kingfisher.
Woodpecker.
Girl in shiny pvc catsuit.
Dean:)

Thanks Grendel for actually making me think about it. :)

Some portraits, but I need to get up the courage to ask my friends to sit for me as I'm scared they might not like what I come up with!

The Lakes in autumn, like Darkstar - but it's nearly always cloudy there (or raining). I used to go there on my motorbike a lot, but I wasn't into photography then. Now that I live in Spain it's more difficult though

In fact I'm sure I heard you say it at least three times! :p

lol I still haven't stopped saying it mate! I'm just so pleased to have finally got one. Now to process the shots and see if any are actually any good :help:

There is just one thing I would really love to see and photograph and that is the Harbin Ice Festival. Maybe one day if I'm really fortunate. Oh and the aurora borealis too of course ;)
