Whipsnade Nutters - let's see your photos

Its THIS picture if any of you got the same tickets, imo one of the less good they got, but they obviously like it.
How cool is that?
(although its not loading ;) )
I was asked if I wanted the tickets for "my guest" as they had pictures on them.
I never gave it a thought TBH, I too may have been "famous" :D

aw crap... ok, here is the entire album of images they got back in 2009 after some rather white weather, the one on my ticket is the 2 lemurs sitting in the window of their enclosure house in the walk through enclosure. Flickr is playing silly sods for me btw, the search function is only finding about half a dozen pics when it should be finding a lots for a particular search term, so possibly its a flickr glitch.

OMG!!! I just emptied my bag from yesterday, and found the two tickets, entry and car ticket. Turned them over to find they have photos on them and thought 'oh, that looks vaguely familiar' - just went and checked and yes, the photo is of the lemurs and came from a set I donated to their image library from back in 2009, the last time I went when it had snowed [albeit no snow in this photo] :D

Getting the 'Bad Panda' message now but I did see it the 1st time I clicked the link.

Strange how we were actually discussing that visit only yesterday.

DON'T TOUCH THE LEMURS!! :bat: :D

oh wow, yes, the dont touch the lemurs moment, "I wasn't, they are touching me!!"

We've had a similar problem at Paignton Zoo with their ring tailed lemurs and at Escot in the red squirrel enclosure - stand still with your hand on the rail and they'll sometimes run up your arm!

@RaptorMike, with any luck, I'll be able to make it up to next year's nutters' meet and will be pretty much passing your door (I do the 303 rather than motorways) so can offer a ride. 36? sleeps before we need to organise it though!

Flicker does seem to be having issues at the moment :D
But I'll get there ;)
Edit, yay got there in the end :D

Thanks Chris for organising, I now feel like a certified nutter!

I've hardly used my camera over the last few months so spent most of the time yesterday re-learning how it works.

1. "Oh no, it's those nutters again!"

@andy0306 Beautiful shot of the Lion...

@TJJ Awesome shot of the zebra

@fabs "MARC" glad I have got to see the shot of the Meerkat certainly an excellent one and far better than I got with it in the half shadow.

Thanks Bryn, I think he move d out o fe shadow just at the right time for me.

I need to have a proper look through everyone else's later, all look good after a glance through.

Might as well post a few then.
Ah so you do own a camera then :p
I like the way the Meerkat is stood there looking quite guilty about something,
Or maybe its already done it, and has been sent to the norty corner? :D

I missed the best of the Wolverines, in the snow,
I was too busy calling them over for the rest of "the crowd" :(

LOVE the lionesses sharing their bodily warmth in the sunshine!

Think this one was looking at Cobra

Trying to work out if I was edible or not no doubt :D
Nice set Ingrid, particularly the Panda cub laying on its back (y)

Good to see everybody had a fab day out , too many fabulous shots to comment on individually, but it looks like everybody did well !!!

And HOW can I not post this one, not the clearest of shots but it was caught hastily... at the end of the day Chris somehow upset this one :D

Nice set Dean (y)
I like the pouncing cub, I managed to miss that

As for the last Cheetah, he's normally so pleasant,
it must have been the "company" I was keeping :p

Love the 2 action shots Dean that little Red Panda was lots of fun to watch pounce around very playful. And the lynx were doing some intensive cleaning.

@mipevo6 Good Gob shots Chris @Cobra will much approve I'm sure.

@mipevo6 Nice set Martin (y)
Particularly the scrapping Wolverines :)

Were you stalking me @Dark Knight , those first 2 look very familiar ;)

Some good ones there (n)
and as for that last Cheetah, he does that everytime he sees Cobra :D
