Nice shot for industry, love the motion you have captured.
Hi, there, composing such a complex machine can't be easy.
The motion is great and it's bang on theme.
The red border looks a bit over saturate to me, especially the right section.
Cheers and good luck with Root...
i like the movement you have captured here Stephen. The engine in motion is certainly bang on theme. I dont mind the saturation in the image, it is part of the detail you've captured so is true to what you've seen.
Maybe just a wee bit too central in its composition but thats being picky. All round good work Iain
Alas I've missed your thread before now Stephen and what a cracking bunch of shots you have!
I wouldn't sigh at being a penny shy of a bar of chocolate I would have screamed and mugged someone! Mind you, I bet you sighed when the next theme was announced and you'd just shot some choccies!
Sweet is excellent, very clever and beautiful lighting.
Secure, again fantastic detail and lovely lighting. Thanks for the description as I know diddly squat about rock climbing!
Industry is also well taken. I think the red draws you around the image while motion blur adds interest Having never been to Manchester it's nice to finally know what MOSI stands for!!!
I look forward to seeing your 52 progress.
Yes, good drawing skills, but is it cheating? A good idea though.
Oh yes its cheating but so is the use of photoshop
True! But the more I learn about photoshop the more I want to learn to take better photos that need less tweaking!St-ephen said:Oh yes its cheating but so is the use of photoshop

Week 2 - Fear.
I wanted to say that fear is all in your head. In this case, fear of snakes? They're just in your head.
Harsh flash was meant to enhance the scarey look.
My nephew was good enough to pose whilst swallowing his snake which is called Connie
Exactly, the less 'fixing' the better! The odd levels tweak or crop are needed sometimes, but having to sort exposure white balance and so on is something I want to reduce!
But it's nice to know that I can reduce clutter in photos of my kids if necessary!
That's really gross. I'm scared just looking at it. The thing nightmares are made of. It's really well composed, and excellent PP work. I hate it but it's good.
