Thanks for the feedback Ken. I agree opening perhaps a little choppy for some tastes - a combination of us trying to hammer home a style and create confusion around the 'deja-vu' of her bumping in to the same person twice. Glad you liked it overall!

still trying to convince my boss to invest in some lencarta, after they were recommended in a previous thread I started. I know I'll only really understand lighting when I play around with it and achieve the different results to see cause and effect.

I'm looking to photograph some work, and really like this stuff.
At the risk of sounding like a complete and utter newb, what suggestions would you have for lighting like this and achieving this background? Do you think it's p/shopped or two background papers...
Not really sure what format Sony Vegas takes but the h.264 format that 7d uses is not an editing format. I'd download mpeg streamclip (free) and convert your files before editing, but sorry can't help with which format you want!
Magic lantern is great but there was a warning not to use it on 60d after it messed up someones camera, not sure where I read it but I'll do some research
