I use the LILLIPUT 668GL and use it attached to the camera shoe mount, although will end up on a Magic Arm. With Nikon it takes the feed soon as you go into LV mode and shows camera data on screen as well.

"The light is terrible, but nothing that can't be cured with a high iso and some tweaking of the wb"
Whit you talking about man! The light in Braehead is the best indoor lighting i've ever shot in. I am getting 1/1000th at iso 800 - 1000 ....shoot in the Kelvin Hall arena then you'll know...
As said before, good idea but to underexposed, first image is the best one other two not. Needed another flash if you had one on the skiers body to make it really work. Check http://www.chrisgarrisonphotography.com stuff its the dogs...

Cheers lads, regards processing I use Lightroom and a custom WB I think its about 3250 for Breahead , I like my whites white. First image as an example is ISO 2000 at 1/1000 at f2.8 good lighting here :) , blackpoint at 5 and a contrast boost. Exposure +1 stop to 1/2 stop. If you contrast...

Hi Ian, well a couple of things really, images look underexposed plus if your using a 100-400 I would crop in alot more males the action look better , push the ISO up a bit from 800 as 1/320 is just not fast enough for this game. Practice practice as they say...

Cyprino, normally you go with option 1 and license with a price accordingly at your rates. If they insist on copyright & full rights then its up to you if you want the work. If yes and you do want the work then increase the overall cost of doing the job to reflect you giving up copyright but...
Only thing you could have done more is a bit of fill flash esp on the first one and a wider aperture. Theres plenty of ambient, just a bit of fill I'd say. If I am doing something like this i'd prob not go under f4.
