Nice one. I would try something like 30 mins or longer exposure to get the trails of the stars + some random short time spotlight to close to the windmill (so not to light up the grass)

I find Adobe Illustrator is more capable for the job.

I think the concept on first one could make it really shine: head look down but a tad less, adding rim light around shoulders/back and some hair light. just my 2ct
