Yep, you've done that a modicum of justice. Quite a big one :) Lovely shots, first two are bit too dark on the right for my liking but give (for me) a bit of a mystical look to the whole scene.

Love #7. The yellow plane looks like it's going to lose out in that dog fight !!

I think you might be right, too much of both. I quite like it with the foreground chopped off the bottom though.

Love the depth in #2 and the shapes in the broken glass on #3. #1 clone grass as suggested. #4 and #5 I'm afraid do nothing for me as they are far too busy and only the title helps decipher their content.

The B&W does it no justice for me. Bright smile deserves a a bright photo IMHO. This one I'm sure will have you smiling for years.
