    Olympus OM-D E-M5, E-M1, E-M10 - Mk1, Mk2 & Mk3 Owners Thread

On import I have it use my metadata preset containing all my copyright stuff etc. plus it resets the camera colour profile to the Huelight Colour profile for the E-M5. No development preset on import, each image is different and the Huelight profile is an excellent starting base. I do most of...

    OMD/M43 vs D7000/D300s

Alan, I had this problem taking photos of my daughter's cats with the E-M5 & P20. She lives in Sheffield in, well ....... one of those small dark northern terraced houses - tiny windows, so not much light, auto-focussing was a nightmare. Until I hit on the solution - flash - I stuck on my...

    Olympus OM-D E-M5, E-M1, E-M10 - Mk1, Mk2 & Mk3 Owners Thread

Hi Alan, I see you are back in the fold :p Still using mine, just don't get as much time to come onto the forum as I used to, but glad the grey, old winter is over for photographing. Here's a couple taken recently on my boat down at Essex Marina. Taken within 6 minutes of each other, and very...

    Adobe Photoshop Elements 11

Keir, What exactly do you need more control of? What do you feel you can't do in LR, what is "missing"? Until you answer those for yourself, you won't know what you need. For example, for my needs, LR does 99% of my PP. For "straight" processing my images, I do it ALL in LR - YMMV. I only...

    Sailing trip

Salt spray is VERY corrosive and damaging. Make sure you watch for waves/spray and get your camera out of the way quickly. Give the camera, lenses, etc., a good wipe down each day after shooting.

    What photo editing software?

The Photo Editing part is the Develop Module - just hit the D key and it takes you there. Hit the G key to go back to the Library module in Grid View. Neat thing is if you have an image selected in the Library Module and hit D, it loads up the Develop Module with that image ready to edit...

Viewing RAW files in Windows Explorer

You need to show file extensions, then it's easy to spot them and/or even sort on Type. If you are on Win7, open up the Folder where your images are, on the top bar, click Organize, then Folder and Search Options, click on the View Tab, uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types", click...

Oly M43 with Lumix lens autocorrection?

Don't know if this helps you, or not, seeing actual images. As you mention architecture, this is the side of a town hall building, plenty of straight lines for you to make your mind up - taken with an E-PL3 and P20mm, I was knealing on the pavement taking this. First is jpeg SOOC (not the...

    What photo editing software?

+1  I'm hoping the next version of LR will have better clone/heal than the current limited Spot Removal tool, for the infrequent times I need it, then I probably wouldn't need PS at all.

I'd be interested in a follow-up to this, after you've spoken to the Lee reps, if you wouldn't mind, to see what you find out?
