So you didn't vote for me then?I don't know about that because I voted for you both anyway, but
This is fab.

*Does his best Tony Hancock impression* The fact I didn't enter has nothing to do with it. You certainly find out who your friends are!Too many Bs....
I think that last shot might've stood you a very good chance of nabbing the top-spot Peter. It's lovely.
^What Nige said^^^ the 2 sunset shots are crackers.
This is the next beach along from Camusdarroch where the beach scenes in Local Hero were filmed. This one has better foreground interest though, and the movie camera just seemed to fit. This is fab.
These were my alternates which, given my limited vote count this month, might have been better choices.
Great series Nige. Particularly like 3 with the background poster of the girls in bikinis "afraid" of the bad weather. That's a great street shot.
c) Same day walking back on the other side of Lake Bohinj, about the most comprehensive set of crepuscular rays I've seen yet! But no real focal point, perhaps.

A little white sailing boat would do nicely! Thanks Nick.Love this Chris, beautiful skies and rays but as you say, it's really crying out for a focal point.
First one definitely a better shot for me than the one you posted Nige, but it's choosing the one that others will like that I find the hard bit!
EDIT: just realised that these are real reflections in the second shot, so that really makes me appreciate it more, especially the middle 2 on the bottom row with the sandwich board sign and the legs. Maybe some cropping would improve the overall effect?
Really like the lighting and focus on the neck of the bottle Steven.Another take on my entry, I preferred this (I think) but its a bit mushy.

This was my other possible entry. I thought it was a little dark in the end though.

Well I'm probably narrow minded in my view but to me even if a shot is technically excellent etc... all flower shots should be in colour, well for humans as some insects (e.g. bees) see them in UV etc
