I was so tempted by the x100f being sold for £990 that I called to buy it, however, it had already been sold this morning [emoji853]
Just had a crash course in leaf shutter and over exposure, took some pictures weekend of daffodils at F2 over exposed and couldn't work out why, after posting on dpreview I was told that the max shutter the cameras will use is 1000 at F2 you can manually select 4000 but it gives poor bokeh with weird artefacts , all down to the leaf shutter, hence why we have the 3 stop Nd filter... I really need to read the manual more LOL
So rule of thumb is when your shooting F2 upwards and you get the red indicator in the evf engage the Nd filter.
I presume you all knew this but I didn't, any of you work around it in other ways?
Same here D ive set it to the FN key...It's the way I do it - sometimes I ignore the red "oi change your settings", it depends what I want.
I have the nd assigned to a Fn button for easy access.
Going to be putting my Silver X100F up for sale shortly.
I love it but too much money invested with the xt20 as well. I'm really enjoying the t20 and 35 1.4 combo at the minute.Surprises me ??
