Your thoughts appreciated:)

Wow!! Fantastic picture.

The colours and stillness of the surrounding water help make this!

I really must have another go at water droplets!

Well done:clap::clap:

Great capture I really like the colours you have used.
Please tell us this was done with a high speed trigger and not just good timing. I've only managed collisions once and that was on my first go not a sign of them since. :bang:
I can manage water crown ok but no sign of any more collisions I need to get myself a stop shot.

Amazingly crisp. Love every detail of it.
Which gear did you use? Please let us know!
Thumps up!!!!

Thanks guys! I'm pretty chuffed with it :)
I have started using a CameraAxe but you can get some excellent results manually. Have a look at Ashes tutorial:

Sarah - the colours come from the two flashes, one gelled red, the other yellow. They are both positioned behind the drops one on top of the other.

James - thanks for the crit. The vignette was caused by the flashes being too close, if I back them off I have to raise the power and as a consequence the duration. Something to work on. As for the sensor you're damn right it needs a good clean - now where's the wire wool ;)

Yv - thanks for that and the challenge too! Looks like I've a way to go yet :LOL:

Thanks again!

I have to echo what everybody else has said... that is stunning.
I will try and get round to doing something similar soon.
