I hope it’s not that cheap, I’ve had my pants down if it isLook into the 16-35 f4, not really a wide guy but it looks a cracking lens for far less than a GM. From what I recall around £600-650 used.

Crazy difference that, despite me wanting to stay away from grey I’d even be tempted at that. I bought UK as I got £400 off the camera and grey prices were still around £2700 IIRC. If the A9-II reached around £2k grey I’d be seriously temptedLooking at prices online for the Sony A7R4, £2200 for grey import or £3500 to buy in the UK I can buy the A7R4 and the 24mm 1.4 GM for less than the price of the body in the UK, madness .
Mint from MPB £740It was last time I looked, 650 nice condition private, 700-750 dealer. Uh oh, pants down.

Always had good dealings with themCan't belive you gave them more than 50 quid.
But 24mm on ff is roughly 36mm fov on aps-c, which I’ve already got covered, I’m afraid. Been looking at the Sony 10-18, but ideally would like f2.8.
There's one in classifieds that you'd get for £600It`s not a bad price so might get one off Wex in a few days.

Bargain (Assuming it's as described)There's one in classifieds that you'd get for £600
Nipped out earlier to buy a second hand tripod from a guy on Facebook.
Didn’t buy it in the end but while I was there the guy talked me into buying his car, which I am home with.
Certainly I think the premise of a 'best prime' is flawed and basically pointless article because there's so many different aspects to cover that choosing a singular prime lens or any other category is pretty much worthless. I am a big fan of the 28mm F2 as it's small, light, cheap and I find it decent optically and crucially it works well in the gimbal and easy to balance.
What's the car?
like the 135mm's my preference with the colour rendition is with the sigma. these will sell very, very well.
I agree.
Just trying to speculate what the grey price will be using the new sigma 100-400 as an example (£899 UK, £649 grey).
This should hopefully come in at around £749 grey (£999 UK).
It's horses for courses. Panamoz gives the better warranty, but I've used both, with no problems, and it's a case of who has what stock and at what price. For instance, I've just ordered a Sony 10-18 from E-Infin at just over £500. Panamoz was well over £600 - both in stock. Other times the reverse applies.Guys. Am I right in thinking Panamoz are the better bet than E-infinity?

I think Panama’s prices have been quite high for some time now. Some lenses are no cheaper to only fractionally cheaper than UK.Thanks guys. Yeah, I was thinking more warranty wise. 20G or 24GM......
20mm 750 E-finitely - 900 Panamoz
24mm 999 - 1150
MPB want 1195 I think for a used 24GM
I have the Samyang 24/1.4 with me as we've shot Milky Way so I'm trying to use it for other stuff this week....

Yeah. Finding it difficult to decide really what to do. Plus even which lens... The 20G must be pretty popular as it's very thin on the ground used! Probably the most tempting of the two but will I later regret that f/1.4......
The 20mm hasn’t been available for that long would expect that is the reason there isn’t many used copies around.
Haven’t used the 20mm but is supposed to very good but not as good for Milky Way etc as the 24.
The 24GM is superb and with there not being a huge difference in price between the two if you don’t need the wider lens it’s a no brainer really.
Think I posted that a few pages back.
You’re not helping my GASOops sorry. Stunning release from Sigma though eh, I'd say the best 85mm on E-Mount
