Why do people have to say words like brilliant and fantastic when a plain old that will be okay or looks alright to me would suffice. Also noticed completely and absolutely being used overly much especially to preface the words will and understand
Overuse of superlatives lessen their meaning and is also bloody annoying

those into everyday use, coming through the education system,
where by everything had to be "Damned fine Splendid"
No negative comments, no winners no losers etc etc.
And words like "nice one" etc became akin to a sarcastic comment.

Decided to go on a nice bike ride this morning. I got about 2 miles from home and my chain snapped. Had to walk home. Very annoying.
