there are 3 big lakes on the Wentworth estate at Greaseborough, about 2-3 miles away, great for wildlife / birds if you have any telephoto lenses. Another couple that are similar are denaby ings, Worsborough Reservoir, old moor wetlands and Sprotbrough flash. Poterick carr a bit further away...

Really like the first shot - very atmospheric
The NEW shot is pretty good too - the angle it is shot at gives it an almost horselike (neck / head ) appearance. The bokeh and plain background make the subject stand out for me too.

I would have to agree with the distractions in the shot you point out, but the shot still gave me a smile. Really sharp on the eyes & I love the contrasty colours

For week 2's theme I wanted to try something NEW, and incorporate the theme as well.
