    Claire's 52 challenge

Week 3 - Flight Week 3 Flight by clairesundance, on Flickr Very disappointed with this, had very few ideas (until the week had ended - why didn't I just shoot a flight of stairs) and felt limited by my equipment. Crit as appropriate Week 4 - Rural Week 4 Rural by clairesundance...

soooooo....does the poll close now? Have I won? :) Unfortunately, I wouldn't fall for the "new case" option...but I am however open to a sensible saving plan... :rules: ...and acutely aware that new lenses may have to be purcahsed in the near future. See boys I'm no monster

I buy clothes with my spare cash....can we not turn this thread into a domestic...you know you're being silly. And he doesn't need a new camera for his job, he works in IT, admitably it quells the boredom, but still XD

*coughs* excuse me but I am not so stupid as to fall for any of the above. And I'm not some evil SWMBO...he can have the camera...when we've bought the house we are saving for! I think that's fair don't you fellas?

Jackie's 221......bear with me on this. 4 from week 2 added.

That's quite a challenge you've set for yourself, don't know if I'd find as much of interest going to and from work and certianly not on my lunch hour. The people I know doing 365 have much more scope on weekends and hols so fair play to you. I really like 4, 5 and 6 they're sharper I guess the...

    Claire's 52 challenge

Cheers. Yeah the second one was out of a window on lunch hour so hence the poor composition, it has been cropped but I thought I'd leave them to the right to set the scene. Having said that I think the crop (below) works really well, thanks. Cropped Week Two Cropped by clairesundance, on...

    Claire's 52 challenge

I want to start using my camera for more than gigs and birthdays and being inspired by my bf and his better camera/skill/effort thought a 52 challenge would force me to do more. On flickr the bf and a friend are joining me and we're taking our theme from the BBC website. We have a Friday...

    Zeek's 2011 52 - Week 2: New

Those are a lot of constraints...being tripod-less I feel lost for night shots and know I won't get anything decent, after a few lenses for range I think it's a must purchase. The issue of people isn't necessarily a bad thing, people watching and trying to capture someone can be a challlenge or...

    And the floods came

I really like 3 and 4 but i agree with tracer they are a bit distracting, too much going on, and needs cropping. The B&W works well though, it a shame the parks near me aren't in a reasonable state to photograph in the first place, although maybe i should investigate the graffiti :P

    Fairburn Ings

there are some much better scenes around fairburn ings, nip down to the visitor centre for your first ones, should be able to get good leading lines to the ings down the swan/duck feeding point... if you can get it when its empty even better! for a first try your onto the right lines :) keep it up

My first and second attempt at night shots

the new 2nd image has too many star bursts on the lights, i find myself looking at those rather than the car itself which is too dark for the scene its in, it might be worth trying it again but shining a torch onto the car around the side so it shows up a bit more... good start though...

    Which of these works best?

i voted for number 2, number 1 looks over processed and number 3 takes a moment to notice the deer...
