High-end bridge cameras: Sony RX10, Panasonic FZ1000 etc

FZ1000. It looks like a kestrel to me.

    Google pixel 4A

I don't think you can choose F-stop, shutter speed or ISO but you can adjust the exposure. If you touch the screen (to select a focus point), brightness and shadow sliders appear. You can also select RAW.

    "Panasonic G series" Owners Thread

I'm keen on the G80 but while researching prices on the grey market, I noticed that eglobalcentraluk are offering the G85 for £323 delivered to the UK. That looks a pretty spectacular price to me (and I've bought an iPad and Zuiko 9-18mm lens from them successfully in the past). However, as it's...

Ricoh GR ii or FujiFilm X70 - anyone owned both?

Ricoh GR II is £379.99 on Amazon UK today. That looks like a very good deal to me.

Do mpb normally pay what they've quoted?

I had a good experience with part-exchanging a lens and separately buying one outright. They agreed my description on the part-ex and paid as agreed. In each case, the condition of the lenses described was correct. Highly recommended.

    Compact camera for hillwalking

I'd second the LX7 suggestion. Here are a couple from my LX5 which is the older version though any of the enthusiast compacts will do - just find one that you like the feel of. P1060073-Edit.jpg by nearlycossack, on Flickr P1060278.jpg by nearlycossack, on Flickr

Anyone got a Ricoh GR then?

Currently om Amazon UK lightning deal for £369. A very good price and I'd get one if I didn't already have a X100.

    Fuji Shop ?

My X100 was mint. Not a mark or scratch on it.

    The Official Fuji X10/X20/X30/XF1/XQ1 Thread

There are 6 refurbished X10 cameras at the Fuji store currently for £162 + delivery. http://shop.fujifilm.co.uk/fujifilm-x10-refurbished.html Use voucher code P258BTCC467 to get 10% off. Speaking from personal experience, my refurb X100 was absolutely spotless.

    Panasonic G3 v G5 v G6 ?

I use a G1 and fancy a sensor upgrade. The G3 feels very strange in my hands. Nothing seems to be located in the right spot - particularly the shutter button. The G5 feels just right.

    High-end Compact vs CSCs

I use a Lumix G1 with pancake lenses and a LX5. The LX5 is easily good enough for 90% of my photos. If I could only have one, I'd go for the LX5 - it's a marvel and I read that the LX7 is even better. If you like a bargain, the Samsung EX2F is available for £200 from Currys currently. That's a...

    which CSC and lens?

The bright EVF thing is perplexing. My G1 doesn't do it - even with the lens cap on. Have you checked your settings? Might be worth comparing yours with another to see if it's faulty.
