I had the same dilemma and went with a 7d and don't regret it at all, both cameras are awesome but in the end my decision was based on price if I did not have a budget I would have gone ff but I don't regret the 7d. Not much help I know but I'm sure there are plenty on here that have owned both.

Thanks for the feedback, the clipping at the top really annoyed me as well, I saw the bus coming and didn't get quite enough time setting up. Was fun trying something new, also tried some light painting in other places but didn't come out to well, I shall keep trying.

If you purchase from a shop in person then you have to return at your cost, if you buy on-line then under the distance selling regs it is their responsibility, a lot of companies online will still say at your cost but once challenged they usually fold! However this can be dependant on the item...
