    Canon 400 f5.6L dimensions???

Hi, Can anyone tell me what the diameter of the lens hood on this one is please? A picture with dimensions would be ideal. I'm going to try and have a crack at photographing the Venus transit next week (weather permitting of course) and I need to make a custom filter holder. As I will be...

    Canon S95 or Olympus XZ-1????

Nope, it's between the Oly and canon, the lx5 just not doing it for me:) yeah a x100 would be nice, so would a m9 but it's a back up for when I can't be arsed lugging my 40d around, and I'm not spending more on a compact than my DSLR is worth:)

    Canon S95 or Olympus XZ-1????

I'm getting myself tied in knots here reading review after review and not getting anywhere. I've decided one of these cameras is for me, but I'm stuck at the final hurdle of deciding... Both cameras look good, the price is about the same (roughly), the Oly is a little bigger but that's ok. It...

Another poll to TRY and help make my mind up!!!

I have the Tamron 17-50, and wished I had bought the Canon 17-55. It's an ok lens, but the focus speed and hunting really get me down sometimes :( I hired the Canon for a wedding and it was fantastic, a little bigger and heavier(and pricier) but worth the extra in my opinion. If I could afford...

    Canon 7D or 70-200L 2.8 IS

Ok, so now sell the 5D (£800ish) and the 70-200 F4 (£400ish) and get your 70-200 F2.8 IS (£1200ish). Job done. P.s. I like that you went in for a lens and got a camera you weren't even thinking about before :)
