B&W Let's see your Black and White photos

Andrea, I think that this image needs some life such as sparkle in the water and contrasting detail in the cliff. There is also what appears to be a halo along the cliff top. What do you think?

It's not ideal but it's for a theme in my '52' on here, and being four weeks behind and having waited over a week for better light for this theme ('Face') it was time to fill the theme and move along. My aim was to reflect two 'faces'; the cliff face and the half face formed by the fissures, but it's not one I will be hanging on my wall :)

Edit: as for the halo, I see what you mean. It wasn't there on the PC I process my images on, but I can see a slight one on this newer laptop, so that's not good :( Thanks for the feedback.

Stephen, I can appreciate your challenges being almost 90 years old myself. I am no longer able to take walks or, indeed, use a camera as I would like but every now and then I try a bit of table-top stuff.

Your latest image is a fine example of monochrome photography, more please.

Only just spotted and much appreciated. Keeping the creative side of my brian going is important to me. After teaching primary school kids for 42 years, I do miss developing ideas for lessons. There are MILLIONS of superb photographers out there that are WAY better than I am, but who cares. Brain activity will hopefully keep senility at bay.

Sorry Toady, I know that my eyesight ain't wot it used to be but is anything in focus???

somewhere beyond the sea,
something waits for me.
my old friend lands on polluted sands
and watches the floaters that go sailing

Just a candid street style shot taken of a young lady with her guitar about to start doing some busking with a couple of very contented dogs by her side.
