Monica the Konica received today :)

Quite a sweet wee thing, hopefully I'll be able to use it ok with my sausage fingers!

How's it going with the Konica Dean? Would like to try and keep this moving so folks at the bottom of the list aren't having to shoot stuff in the depths of winter.

I'm all finished with the trip now, will get the adress of the next person and send their theme to them :)

Good man Rob, looks like the Trip team may have just gone into the lead.......Mmmm lovely free beer.

Now to think of a dastardly theme...

Hi Andy, just wondered how the Konica club was doing and could you remind me how fast we have to turn it around?

Cheers

At the moment Monica the Konica is with Strappy who will pass it on to Justin who will pass it on to you, you then have 7 days to get your shots and move it on to the next on the list. :)

I have taken my front door pic but haven't been able to get out for the theme shots because of work. Bank holiday tomorrow though so I'll rattle off three shots and get the camera sent on this week.

ETA: PM sent to Justin for his address

Thanks for the update Dean

Team Konica are back in the hunt, a rare slow day meant I could get to the PO and Monica is on the way to Justin :)

Monica and I are just getting familiar with each other and I'm planning my shots. Should have her back on the road in the next few days.

Oly Trip arrived safe and sound.

I'll try to get job done over the weekend for posting Monday.

Or I would if I had the faintest idea how to accomplish Rob's fiendish challenge. ;)

The closest focus for a trip is...1.5 metre? Yeah?

I have no idea, if it is, my image might struggle to be in focus :/

The focus distance in both metres and feet is at the bottom of the lens barrel (the zone markings being at the top). Mine goes down to less than 1 metre, stops at 3 feet... I've not tried it really close though. There's something a bit odd about framing really close when you've no indication whether in focus or not!

All part of the fun isn't it?

I've never used anything like this before.

Really looking forward to seeing the results, however they turn out.

I think Monica the Konica is on the way to me!

Has anyone got a link to the Manual? Not going to have a clue how to work her!

Also- I start College and my A-levels this week (Ahh!) so may be a tad delayed, but once i get her, i will get her out again as soon as i can :)

I got a pm from Chris stating I might need to take his slot, he thinks he's gonna struggle with other commitments.

Thanks Matt and Simon. Sorry, no lack of willingness, just a timing issue for the next 2 weeks!

Monica the Knoica has arrived with me!

Such a awesome little camera! Will read the Manual tonight, and get my pictures done once i'm sent a Theme :)

Does anyone know what films loaded in it?

Simon
