Looking to take my X-t3 out with me while on cycle rides (road cycling), I currently own a 18-55 and 55-200, so not practical or possible to fit in my back jersey pocket. Which lenses are the most compact? I once owned the 27mm, I didn't wow me... but would consider as it meets the brief.. but what else is there?

Probably the most compact............aside from the 27mm...........are the f2 primes. 23mm, 35mm and 50mm (although if you put the hood on the 50 it is quite long).

With lockdown set to continue for a while I thought I'd do a little project about the transition from spring to summer but focusing on a short stretch of a country lane near home.

Took the first shot at the beginning of April and the second last weekend. Will see how the scene changes over the coming weeks.

For the price of an additional lens, I'd consider buying an X100S, this will fit a lot more comfortably, weigh less, and you won't be bothered (so much) if its involved in an incident. (or an Sony RX100, even smaller with a zoom lens!)

thanks, I'll take a look at that too.. I'll see how it sizes up against the 35mm f2 - I wouldn't mind using it as an excuse to get some use out of the xt3

Forgot about the 18mm f2. One of the older Fuji lenses and maybe not optically brilliant but its quite compact.

I have just come across a problem i have not noticed before with my X-T3.
The metering mode i had it in spot & in the photo exif it is showing pattern.
I took 4 photos in the 4 different metering modes & they all show pattern,any ideas.

You are not the only one, it had the same effect on me, the X-H1 seems to have that affect on people,

Unfortunately for me last year wasn't a good one and just as I was getting back into taking it with me Covid-19 reared its ugly head.

A bit late I know and sorry to bore you all but here's another snap I did at the same time as the last one for my contribution to the "Music Challenge Theme".

This is a similar snap to one I did a time or two ago but since the last attempt I have re-lacquered the body and changed the hard tail configuration and fitted a Tremelo Arm similar to a Bigsby unit and re-snapped it.

Just a simple close up type Fujigraph taken in my home studio of an Epiphone Dot 335 Guitar tailpiece. Shot taken using a black paper back ground and three studio flash heads each with a largish soft box fitted.

X-H1, 105mm Micro Nikkor (D) Lens, 125th @ F8, ISO-200, Multi Studio Flash.
