The Official Fuji X Pro 1 Thread

Easy Like Sunday Morning by Adam Bonn, on Flickr

Here’s an x-pro1 and xf35 shot that found it’s way into this months EYE Magazine (via no rules street photography group on facebook)

I grabbed it during a break from a shoot when we all needed a cafe stop!

Shot from the hip using a zone focus!

I thought you sold all your Fuji gear Adam?? I still have my X-Pro1 - I just couldn't bring myself to sell it and it now it is permanently fixed with a Samyang 12/f2. No need for autofocus here :)

That must be a different Adam!

I currently own 4 digital cameras two of which are fujis, the x-pro1 and 2

I keep selling the XP1 then keep buying it again (three times now) so I’ve told myself enough! Don’t sell it anymore!

I think ebay needs two things, a breathalyser that can tell you not to buy anything and a sell list, that can flag up when you’re listng an item you’ll regret :D

Just asking if anyone is looking to maybe sell/move on their X-Pro1 body..? I really fancy returning to one again, looking for as clean condition as possible.

E-Infinity have them new for £379 (grey) [emoji41]

I just dug mine out last night to do afirmware update sadly I have rarely used it.
I purchased it with the XF 18mm f2.0 and the XF27mm f2.8 and a every ready case.
Shortly afterwards I Purchased a X-T10 and the XPro1 stayed wrapped up.
I’m thinking it’s time to take it out and using it once again.

Hi and thank you Jim!

Presently in a specialised cancer ward in Glasgow hospital for the past 4wks after receiving a stem-cell transplant, maybe getting home towards end of next week, and a 3 month recovery period then at home etc. I'm keeping sane by listening to a lot of music and viewing this fabulous photographic website..!!

I have one I can be persuaded to part with Peter, its my spare body that I bought a few years ago new but after taking some test shots to make sure it was working it was put away in my camera drawer in a wrap and never used as I didn't have any problems with my original body, therefore its as new.
Also its had a toughened glass screen protector fitted since new and a soft release button as well as a rare as hens teeth Fuji +2 diopter as well as the original.
It would come with a 3rd party spare battery as I have enough for my X-Pro1.
I also have an unboxed Genuine Fuji M mount adapter + a Voigtlander 75mm F2.5 with the matched Voigtlander LS-M adapter that can both go too..

PM me if interested

Pleased to hear your making progress and hope all goes well.

Ian

I am back in the land of the living! I now own an X-Pro again. An X-Pro1 to be precise. After the offer by a mate fell through (he decided to keep his) I found a minty one at Harrisons for a very reasonable price and it arrived today. Just updated the firmware, fitted a soft release, a thumb grip (silver Lensmate X-E2 one, but it's the nearest I had in my drawer), and my Footprint strap. Now all I need is either a genuine Fuji grip or a decent leather half-case, if anyone has one going? Oh, and I'm waiting a +2 diopter lens, ordered from Robert White. Might even get round to taking some shots with it.

MPB have a whole load of cases for XP1

Good spot. Just ordered one.

Do you find the red insert on your shutter helpful?
Mine’s black, which is slower than red but faster than white. No, seriously, I find it raises the level of the shutter release and makes it easier to find and control.

Just ordered some silver ones. They must be fast and will surely boost the resolution and turn me into a Martin Parr.
