Thanks, I raided my "useful bits to keep" drawer and found the ribbon cable amongst tons of other stuff.
 
I rather like the last image too. Great colour and composition.
 
The colours of the wiring in the last one looks great, I'm sure I have same or similar relay pcb, although like everything else it's a work in progress that rarely reach completion.

Good take on the theme, and very quick off the mark! I, personally, think the vignette on the bottle image could have gone to the dark side of the slider to be more effective.

Thanks, I tried that initially but I wanted to make it look like it was on an open beach so decided to go for the lighter side.
 
Very Creative David, I'm thinking I agree with Jim. I like the shot but not the vignette so much.
 
I loved guessing these - it's going to be a fun week! Three great ideas and very quickly done.

Well the week has barely started! I always have to think for a few days first :)

I like your chosen shot best. Lovely warm tones of the table against a fairly monochrome backdrop.
 
Yes first is the one.
The brown tones and dark backdrop give it that rustic, cottagey feel.
 
Your chosen shot is the best of an interesting set for me David.

Great set David, My kids wouldn't know what a slide rule is if I showed it to them...
 
Good set of shots. I never did learn how to use one of those...
 
Great set David. We had to use a slide rule at school - before we even had calculators. I never could use it!
 
Slide rule is a great idea. I used one a little at school.
I still have it and showed it to my son last year (in his thirties and financially very qualified.) He had no idea what it was.
 
As quick off the mark as the vehicle! I love the background - cracking shot.
