B+W 10 stop ND, Fotosense thumbs up

Thought I'd share a positive experience with a new [to me] online photo shop. I've had a B+W 110 ND on backorder for weeks from Warehousexpress, where I usually shop. Got a bit fed up with the wait, and shopped around. I ran across Fotosense, who were highly rated on another photo forum (yes, hard as it is to believe, there are other forums beyond TP!).

The FS website said they had the B+W in stock, at a very competitive price (about £1 cheaper than WE as I recall). I decided to go with FS and cancelled my WE order. Well, am I ever impressed! Ordered last evening, and the filter arrived in this morning's post. I will definitely keep FS in mind for future indulgences.

As for the filter, I haven't had a chance to try it out yet (there are no waterfalls in my office, last time I looked, and that's mostly what I want to use it on). However, I did a very rough and ready exposure test and as far as I can tell, its an almost exact 10 stop ND.

I made my own 10-stop ND filters from welding glass. However, not got a chance to try them out yet!

Foto Sense are very good. I have visited their unit in Bolton. Great service, good prices.

I got mine from there recently.

It arrived the next day, only thing was, I arranged to have it delivered to work address. When I looked at the invoice address, the house number was wrong. It's a good job I didn't have it delivered to my house as it would never have arrived. (It was sent first class post, not signed for).
