Most beautiful of all? - Red-tailed Comet (Bolivia)

This guy has to be considered in the top 5 most beautiful hummingbirds in the world. What an absolute stunner!!

I found this guy feeding on some roadside flowers in the mountains and managed to get a few nice frames that really show off the birds incredible tail. I hope that you enjoy them!

Just as a matter of interest, and being a boring sports photographer how could you have made that shot any better? As far as I'm concerned it shows the bird off just about as good as anyone could do, some wonderful colours and great detail.
