I was forced to take this one by Mrs Badger , her newly refurbed Gothic themed bedroom ! Old Kodak point and press + flash I couldn't get back far enough to show it in it's full glory.
Had a proper WTF moment looking at this and wondering where the hell the stairs were going. I'd lose an inch off the LH side of this to really remove the perception of where the stairs lead because the people in the frame make a strong story. I know this isn't a crit thread, but I thought the photo was great.
Mrs WW started planting things during lockdown and now we have tomatoes, chillies, carrots, lettuce, leak, spring onions and lots more. I don't think I've ever in my life seen a tomato flower before but now we have two which are flowering.
This one is growing out of a bottle hung upside down. We have others hung up, in pots and in the cold frame
A crop from that...
I think she's going to leave a carrot to flower so I may see that at some point.
Hi, in the morning, there was a stork again in the field, which kept its distance from us (my wife, our dog, myself), going even closer to the jogger. I found this most annoying ... :
At home, I exchanged my pocket camera (SONY NEX5 - LEITZ Tele-Elmarit-M 2,8/90) for my SONY A7 - SONY FE 4/70-200, which is quite light for hiking.
The stork was standing in the morning breeze:
I approached it :
And when I got too close :
To another field, with a mate (between tree #4 and #5 from right) :
We bought a second small freezer last year and were able to store brambles we'd picked locally. I make bramble pies and Mrs WW makes jam and juice and this is the first year we've been able to store enough brambles to last all year. There are ripe ones now and we still have plenty left
