Quick release camera strap system needed

When ime out with the 150-600 on my D750 i use a black rapid sport strap fixed to the lens,i have taken the camera neck strap off as it gets in the way,i would like a recommended from users quick fit and remove system for the camera neck strap,preferably one that has been tried and tested,

I use the BR sport attached to the camera body.

As for quick release neck strap then the peak design one would fit the bill. I tried it though and didn't find it that comfortable tbh.

I've tried various ones of those too, but don't find them as comfortable as the Matin curved neoprene one which has the same kind on release system. My only gripe with these type of clips is that they leave too much strap still attached to the camera and find it gets in the way.
 
Thanks for the replies i will think again about using the BR strap and look at the suggestions.
 
Another vote for the OPTech ones, both wrist & bandolier types.
 
There is a story on TP somewhere of an expensive DSLR/lens that smashed to the pavement because a QR strap came apart when it wasn't intended to.

I will never use QR straps.
 
Thanks for the input but i have come up with a solution,i need a D7100 for the sigma 150-600 so the black rapid strap is on all the time for that,then the 750 can have the neck strap back.;)
 
The Peak Design sounds perfect for my D750 and 24-70 or 35/85. What is the major difference between the Leash and the Slide? Which one would be better suited for the Nikon setup? Thanks.
 
The leash was their earliest strap and for a DSLR is the inferior option. It's simply a thin piece of seat belt material with no padding. Which is OK for a small camera but not very comfortable for the weight of a DSLR with a lens. They suggest it can also be used like a safety harness but as a strap you are much better choosing the slide.

The slide is a wider strap with internal padding which spread the weight more comfortably.
 
Thanks for the information @hsp70 I'll look to order the Slide as it certainly seems to be up for the task and gets good feedback from what I've read. Thanks to the above posters who brought it to my attention.

Would recommend Premier Ink ordered yesterday and delivered today. Strap is high quality seatbelt type material and the black with a bit of red goes great with the x100s. Very comfortable and although expensive should last a long time and can be used as both neck strap and sling.
 
Thanks @Thunderbird010 I will order from Premier Ink. I look forward to getting it as will likely use the slide for the D750 and then get the cuff at a later date when I decide on a smaller walkabout camera.
