Stacking Teleconverters - Moon

Tack sharp! Like it, good result. :)

That's looking pretty sharp. V nice. :)

Very good shot, dispels some myths about TCs I think
Well using Teleconvertors will ruin you in poor light, and considering the moon in this phase is very bright it negates the trade off of using a TC a little imho.

Using a Canon 7d2 + Tamron 150-600mm @ 60mm + x2 TC managed to get this, whilst sat in the back garden.

I think it goes to show that TC are quite useful, as long as you use them in situation where the trade-off is mitigated.

Like that Simon
I have both the 1.4 and 2, both Mk2, but never had them fixed together.
May sound stupid, but does it matter which way round (i.e. does the 1.4 or 2 fit to the body)?
If the 1.4 gives a one-stop loss, and the 2 gives a two-stop loss, is it a simple fixture of adding 3 stops?

Thanks Paul, I did it with camera body -> 1.4TCIII ->2XTCII -> Lens retained AF but I adjusted exposure manually for the 3 stops. Lightroom gets confused though and reports it as a 2XTCIII
