Looking on their website http://www.fujifilm.com/products/films/color_negative_films/index.html I don't think Fuji make c200 (Vista) film anymore, so maybe the stock has dried up.
Fuji have hardly every mentioned about C200, probably because it's the budget, inferior quality version of what they already sell and the emulsion is years old (late 80's to early 90's). It wouldn't surprise me if what they've been selling is from bulk rolls made years ago and frozen as that's apparently pretty much what Kodak do with the similar ColourPlus 200 (i.e, we have this old stuff in frozen storage, why not sell it?).
A Google search told me that Dealz is a chain of discount retail stores predominantly in the Republic of Ireland and Additional Dealz stores have also opened in the UK: one in Kirkwall, Orkney and another in Douglas, Isle of Man.According to Another Place I frequent, they're bringing it back "due to popular demand", or so says a customer relations person. (Also, apparently they sell them in "Dealz" shops, although I've never seen a Dealz.)
That's probably because I bought 25 from there on Saturday!Managed to get some in Guildford today. Not many left now..
Lots in the Sutton in Surrey branch earlier today. Didn't get any as haven't shot any of the 20 rolls I got the last time Poundland were going to drop it.
is this and the fuji c200 that pound land had before the same film (manufactured the same)?
haven't seen any in west london.
Kilmarnock Branch has a good amount still on the shelves, dated 12/2007 so good for a while yet. Bought a couple this morning for a new Nikon EM I acquired at the weekend from a wee vintage shop
Possibly that post in the wrong thread, Brian?
