    quickest most efficient workflow?

I ingest all RAW files using Photomechanic and also use PM to do a backup then lock that away. I then sort the RAW files using Photomechanic and move them into another folder which I then import into LR for editing. I then export from LR to JPG and a copy goes with the previous backup.

    Nikon D7xxx owners thread

Is anyone else finding batteries for this like rocking horse poo? Can't find them anywhere for a decent price. Probably has to do with the recall of some batteries but some on eBay for over £100!!

    nikon d7000 or d300s

D7000 is newer with better ISO results. Would recommend the D7000 over the D300s, if you can get hold of it that is.

    New york

What Matt said to be honest. As an avid traveler and photographer to New York there are better viewpoints than this to get the top of the Empire in the shot.

backing up cards whilst out and about

Option 3 exists without the external hard drive (iPad anyway). I shoot with a D7000 which has 2 SD card slots so I use the 2nd card as RAW backup, which is very useful. I've been asking this question myself for a while and was looking at getting a 13" MacBook and portable HDD, just couldn't...

    Confused: D90 vs D7000

I have both cameras and notice the difference in body only. Different weights and sizes and button layout but that's about it. Bit of a pain on a shoot remembering the different buttons for each camera but nothing I can't handle. Image quality outstanding on both are nearly the same. Would...
