I ingest all RAW files using Photomechanic and also use PM to do a backup then lock that away.
I then sort the RAW files using Photomechanic and move them into another folder which I then import into LR for editing. I then export from LR to JPG and a copy goes with the previous backup.
Is anyone else finding batteries for this like rocking horse poo? Can't find them anywhere for a decent price.
Probably has to do with the recall of some batteries but some on eBay for over £100!!
What Matt said to be honest. As an avid traveler and photographer to New York there are better viewpoints than this to get the top of the Empire in the shot.
Option 3 exists without the external hard drive (iPad anyway).
I shoot with a D7000 which has 2 SD card slots so I use the 2nd card as RAW backup, which is very useful.
