"Excellent" set of floral style captures Chris, liking them all with the sunflower being my fav.

I took these photos in Cannero,Lake Magiorre (Italy) on my recent holiday and it's another reason why I really enjoy visiting mainland Europe. Maybe our climate doesn't lend itself to this kind of display or they just think differently. I can imagine some wayward youths here causing damage to them.

they don't last long but so fab when they are open
I've got a couple of dozen here, BUT the slugs are a real nightmare, even eating the flower heads, and chomping through substantial stalks,
I'm removing a few dozen each night.
Nematodes on order...
