Thanks for the kind comments. There was loads of 'structural' content there amongst the airframe graveyard, I was just a week early
I'm no expert on the rules here, but this is a fine photo of a structure. Nicely composed and B&W conversion works very well.
Love it...what is it in reality tho ? Old plane cockpit ?
Hi Chris,
I really like the shot you got there for it's content, it's bang on theme.
I feel it needs more of a black point though, it's almost as if the shadows have been lifted a bit too much (I'm only guessing), I would be tempted to darken the shadows a bit. Mind you, that's the Jared Polin in me talking, so feel free to ignore
Fantastic access you have there, it must be amazing!
Routine is a very nice shot and good editing imo, I like the harshness of it as it makes it more, my only grip would be remove the can on the ground
It just looks a bit complicated. Sorry.
I quite like the processing, the contrasty look works.
I'm not sure which of the two versions wins out, I like both.
Maybe the first one just edges it due to the many different leading lines, the second shot loses the leading line of the fence.
Love that structure shot, Chris. Suits the processing down to the ground and so much to look at. I have to ask, what actually is it?
The Sea King is a winner as said. Brilliant effort.Thanks.
The original one I chose for the weeks thread is the insides of an old Sea King helicopter. The others I added to my '52 thread' are from an English Electric Canbera.
I like the external image Chris, real nice to see a blue sky and descent warm light
The number shot from the inside is nice too, I like it portrait cropped, you did well with the uprights
