I like 1 and 2 altho maybe the blackberry would have looked more random inside the ring of strawberries? I think it's right on theme which is good because my 'last resort' shot will be along those lines![]()
My Son said Randoms!
Like the crisp look to these pictures
nice exposures to all of them no2 though i agree is the one almost edible.![]()
Leave is fantastic; I like the B&W one best. Great interpretation of the theme. You've captured that anticipation that says "I'm leaving it, but how much longer?" perfectly
Will comment on Random once I've done mine![]()

I just knew there was going to be a bag of sweeties in this weekAll shot very well Sarah.

I trust you dealt with the sweets appropriately Sarah once you finished photographing them?![]()

Only slight niggle .....I'd maybe have cloned out all the little bits & the darker line in the lower half of the photo....other than that...great shot girlie , keep up the good work like your shots Sarah, #2 for me, like the close up picture and the colours
I finaly shot mine tonight, and I have also done Randoms!!!, Still going to post mine but will try and get something else......Doh!!
Hi Sarah
Random - I'm liking all 3... no:2 is edging it as the best, I think it's the narrow dof that seals it for me, both fruit pics very inviting and more in my taste than the bang on them Randoms shot. All very good![]()
1 more for the randoms I see, I like it. Out of the 3 pics, I am going to go with number 2, lovely and crisp and very nice colours.
Hi Sarah - Random - #1 is my favourite.
Excellent lighting and I like the POV.
Sorry I'm so far behind with my comments Mike
Hi Sarah, many apologies but I'm a bit behind!
Leave: initially I liked the B&W of your dog but wondered what colour he was. Then you posted the original and I have to agree with Liz that the PP just doesn't suit him, his eyes are to gorgeous a colour to lose. Saying that, i like the shot and the idea for leave. As for masking around fur and hair, there is a way to fine tune it in CS5 I googled it once, but still got it wrong:bonk:
Randon: I like all three, but number two steals it with the close crop. The randoms are a very clever idea, they certainly fit the theme and are nicely exposed
Can I be REALLY picky and say in number one the white foreground has quite a lot of little bits on it, obviously from the fruit, it really is nit picky though but they've made it into the other two shots!
It was nice meeting you last week, I really will get my photos posted this weekend!
Hi Sarah
The portrait of your pooch in B&W is wonderful , great PP work from the original...lovely looking chap & very well trained
Random.....#1 image for me.....they look good enough to eat ,you've caught the textures & colors really well & I like the layoutOnly slight niggle .....I'd maybe have cloned out all the little bits & the darker line in the lower half of the photo....other than that...great shot girlie , keep up the good work

, he's really the Tazmanian devil!!

Hi Sarah
Temperature - A great image that, part of me would like to see the roast a bit more in focus, but the focus on the gauge is spot on, and with the dof how it is the background is great and shows off the dial very well
I'm with Iain there; I can't decide either!!! A bit of sizzle in the background would have been nice, but it's a great shot as it is. Tiny bit burned out at 10 o'clock on the dial rim, but I don't think that detracts really.
Very very nice indeed
What were you cooking though, because at that temperature, you've frazzled it!!!!!!!!
