Spent the morning wandering the beach of Bamburgh on Tuesday and i loved every minute of it,
I have recently made the change to Fuji now shooting with the Fuji X-T2 and looking for nice compositions
and being alone it was fun to just walk round and shoot using a superb new camera system.

I know I posted some from Trotternish last week but created another crop - 17x7 just taking a tad off the sky. This is the one I am happiest with

The next is from my favourite bit of coast in the UK. Elgol. Truth be told I can take or leave the sea but...
A quick adventure to Porlock Weir in Somerset at the weekend, wasn't expecting much as 1 I had never heard of the place and 2 the images on line looked a little drabb from my 5 min research over a cuppa T. However I very surprised at the opportunities the location provides and even got a very...
I had a really nice morning on Rannoch Moor last Thursday. Lovely clear reflections and it was nice and warm. This has to be my favourite time of year, despite the midges.

What can I say. Yesterday was again one of these days that I just love. Lovely clearish skies, nice and warm (all relative) with good visibility. Where better if it is too windy to chase reflections than to spend the morning than Elgol.

As you all know I live near here and am up here shooting a lot. This Saturday I decided to go and visit. I rarely head out over the weekends as I prefer to shoot alone and not encounter large groups of people, something, despite the popularity of the area is quite easy to achieve. It wasn't...
Three from Elgol last Wednesday. Not really a seascapes person but had a ball nevertheless.

Hi.
I'm a photographer from Poland in Europe.
Photography is my hobby since 2013 when a I bought my first DSLR and started taking photos of PC projects and parts.
Latter I was fascinated about long exposure and nature photos, I'm also did portraits and commercial projects recently, but two...
The photo below was taken at Shenandoah National Park in Virginia (US) shortly after sunrise. The park has 75 different overlooks along the main road in the park, and this is from one of the overlooks. If you're interested in more photos or detailed information about photographing the park you...
I don't normally get up at 4am to drive an hour and half just to take photos. As you all know it's a bit of gamble to say the least, hoping that the conditions play ball. I even got delayed as the motorway was closed. Here I got lucky with some lovely light and this nice pink cloud despite a...
Hi,
I have been taking photo's for just over three months now and I'm really enjoying it. I have found that i'm mainly drawn to the coast due to living near it and sunrise being the best time for me to get out. Anyway I took this last week whilst trying out my new lens.
The tide was really...

A first visit to Holme Fell for sunrise yesterday - bit of a recce but it soon became apparent we were going to get a decent sunrise after the forecast was for clear blue everywhere (nice for a change) - despite taking a wrong turn in the dark and trekking up the steep side of the fell in ferns...
So the initial pano at 1st light struck many chords with people on here. Some liked it and some didn't.
This version was taken around 15 minutes later when the light has really hit the landscape and drawn the long shadows of daybreak.
What's been done to it? It's been cropped from six vertical...
I must be honest, I completely forgot about this site in the whirlwind of social media accounts I'm trying to keep updated.
Anyway here are few frosty landscapes from last week, let me know your thoughts.

I thought I'd share this from a recent Duathlon event deep in the Shropshire countryside. It's been classed as the UK toughest Duathlon event, and named Storm the Fort. The guys here are running over the old fort near Clun named The Bury Ditches A stunning place to be just after 8:30am on a...
Something for everyone here. I took two morning trips up to Skye last week. The 1st was to Elgol.
The sunrise came lighting up the view.

So as the sunrises will soon be at sensible times I'm thinking of heading to the east coast for somega sunrise coastal shots. Can make it to Flamborough head in under 3 hours.

When I was planning this the night before I didn't have a good feeling, the radar said there was zero cloud cover but there would be very little wind. Anyway I got up at 3am regardless and headed to Penmon.
Needless to say the sky was as predicted and while there was some lovely colours I just...
