Short, I took this in readiness earlier in the week ;) well I feel it fits perfectly and yes it is cheating but I feel I should share this one anyway. Crusher and Zeb off this forum shot with the Samyang 7.5 fisheye. Yes they really are that short :D
p.s. I will look for another short to shoot as I took this before the theme was reviled. ;) It is posted just for fun.

aw poor Trev and Crusher lol

I won't comment tho as Trev is taller than me ha ha

:)

PS almost forgot, like the shot too

Nice one Alby

They both look happy chappies :D
A fun image that works well in the theme. Iain

Pride - I'm afraid I'm another one who finds the pp'ing of #1 too much. On the registration plate debate, I can certainly understand why you'd want to remove the number.

Short - I actually think it makes them look tall. :) I like the effect though.

don't get it doesn't say short to me in any way, nice pic tho very funny

Thanks all. ;)
Here is my proper entry for this month. Don't get caught short and use my doorway.
This is more of a record/humour shot then a arty farty type effort and no critique needed.

Flight taken at 300mm on 2x crop sensor so effectively 600mm. it was barely visible to the naked eye but it is my flight banker :D Shot with the Panasonic G3 and Panasonic 100-300. It could do with a crop off the bottom but thought I would leave it completely as is.

Wonderful shot! I love the sky, and the fact that that's all there is in the shot apart from the balloon. Where did you take it from?

Great work Alby

It gives a such a great sense of space and scale. I do like big skys, the cloud really adds to the view. This would make a cracking canvas/print it has a lovely serene calm feel. Iain

'Flight' - lovely image taken above the clouds was this taken in the UK ? Not many pilots are going to do that because of the visibility. Nick

Thanks all ;)
Mark is was taken on the hillside just south of South Harting.
Nick this was taken on a hillside in Hampshire.
This was shot at 33mm which is 66mm@35mm so is pretty much as the eye sees it. Can you spot the Air Balloon?

Wow, that's amazing how a different perspective can change the view. Is the balloon aprox 3" from the left hand side - if not I can't see it. I'm impressed with your cameras ability to capture that and the subsequent zoom / crop detail - Nick

OMG is your flight shot taken from this wide angle shot? If so how did you crop it so much and not lose loads of detail?

No. I think one is taken at 66mm (equiv), with the main one at 600mm (equiv). Same scene, different zooms.

Yep, if it was a crop it'd need to be a 300 MP camera!

Yes Mark is correct, the balloon shot is with the 100-300 lens. I popped up the landscape shot to show the view as seen naturally. Yes Nick that is the balloon just under that cloud.

After a trip on Sunday to the fabulous new Seacity Museum in the old Southampton Court house I noticed these old holding cells by the loos and thought yes "Authority" :D so snapped a shot with my phone for this weeks theme.

Alby, it's definitely on theme but not your best yet ... it's a bit like some of mine, fitting the theme but not being 'inspiring' - I think this is one of the problems I am experiencing with this 'project', it's not providing the best of my photography. :)

You are right Gramps it is a fit to theme rather than an outstanding effort. On the plus side it does make you think and I would never of taken a shot of this if it hadn't of been for the 52.
