The tight crop in and Mono processing really suits it

As others have said - the processing and set up suit this well. And your father was a brave man shooting slides on a 2 setting camera!

Thanks Dave. Just looked up the manufacturing dates which finished in 1971, so I must have got it a bit earlier or there were still some in the shops a couple of years later.

Thanks Alex. He did surprisingly well. I still have most of those slides today and am in the process of scanning them.

Thanks Allan. sadly not used for a long time. It taught me a lot about exposure and DoF etc.

Week 31 Static

I don't think this boat will be moving for a while judging by the fencing attached to the sides.

Definitely needs some TLC. And looking at what the fenders are tied to, I hope the wind / tide don't move it too much or the safety rail will not be static for long...

Graceful - Lovely shot, liking hte subtle colours. But graceful? I can see elegant, but graceful is something I associate with something that moves, not an object.
Static - Not sure I get the fence comment, but it doesn't look like it's moved recently.
