I have a FLIR camera which shows temperature rather than visible light and that explained why our (much loved and missed) cat chose to lie in a few spots that were most inconvenient - they are about .5°C warmer than spots 6" either way.
Technology here allows a drawing to be converted into an embroidered picture. Firstly, computer programme to design and set the choice of stitching, colours and order of sewing to achieve the desired result, sent to the machine, when the human is satisfied, and the start button pressed. Put the kettle on and sit back to watch it happen.
My wife can disappear for ages when she has a project ongoing! Trouble is it’s learn as you go and need to understand the programming and use it regularly, or great frustration when something gets forgotten
I have been up- grading the shed to a work shop, plenty of wood no long required and a lot more before finished. The mitre saw has discarded this lot so far...although some has made it to a neighbour for their log burner.
I would like a powered mitre saw myself, and have a hand one which works well enough for my useage.
For me it looks a bit too tidy, but the theme is fulfilled.
Native Flora to Britain, the Dianthus or Pinks...not because they are pink but because the edges of the petals look like they have been trimmed with pinking shears.
