Nifty Fifty on Week 50 - 2023 - Image thread

Hi all

Week Fifty is here - 11th - 17th of December, just for fun feel free to post images taken between these dates using the Nifty Fifty lens. (or nearest focal length equivalent on crop bodies/zooms).

Tiny crops to straighten and cropping to new ratio ie. 16:9 are allowed, but please keep the image as close as possible to how the Nifty Fifty lens would see it.

Hi all,

I found this website and page by accident and joined for the nifty fifty week!
This was taken tonight, Nikon D3, 50mm 1.8.
The cat is called Elvis.

Not quite week 50 as the weather didn't lend itself to photgraphing last week and wandering through Kew Gardens Christmas lights last night I stumbed across the neon angel wings. Pushed my way past hordes of young children and posed looking rather mean and devious... take with D850 and Nikkor 50/1.4G.
