I've caught up with mineral and dark! Slowly getting around everyone's threads.
 
Morning :wave: is it Saturday already?

Time has snuck up again! I have ideas for last week just not been able to do anything yet. Hubby and the brood are going shopping later this morning, I'm staying home to nurse some broken ribs, fingers crossed I'll grab my shot for time!

Laughing doesn't help so watching Peter Kay was painful, but worth it!

Mark I fought a Lego brick, it tackled me to the ground! Thankfully my sons bike broke the fall :eek:

Yeah they can be vicious those Lego bricks. Hooray for the hero bike though eh?!

Well... Not had much luck with my shots today...

First was Dark, Subject would not stay still long enough - Moving to plan 2

Time, Had a great Idea, thinking about set up all week... Went to do it a couple of hours ago, and would you believe it - The main subject, my Son's snake is dead :(

So looks like I'm 3 behind again !!!!

Never mind, not giving up, Im off for a week or so and popping to Scotland with the family from Thursday so aim to catch up then :)

Think I may be about to post my 1st joker in a year n half of doing 52's.....tried a few shots with the help of a male friend last night but they were carp as I have no idea on lighting & couldn't get the flash thingy to work on the D7000:'(

Why not take part in our annual TP Day coming up soon 9th September, Where you take a photo on that day and post it on the forum, then all the Photos are made into a slideshow, Click the logo for more details, it's lots of fun to be a part of it:thumbs:
 
Hi, all, so we have 7 names on the 'TP 2012 end of project meet' spreadsheet which is located here clicky linky.

At week 13 we had 13 active TP 52ers (but more are popping in when able)...so if you haven't registered an interest why not pop over to the meet thread located here clicky linky

Map with suggested venues is in post 41.

So far we have only 1 date where those that are on the spreadsheet are all available and that's the 31 January - 3 February (you can come along for all or some of the dates :thumbs:). So that's the date we'll go with!!

We had a fantastic mid TP52 meet.

So nip over the the clicky linky and join in!!

I feel so bad, work has come in and taken over my life again and I'm waaaaaaaaay behind on shots AND comments! Argh. I'm off to an awesome looking venue this weekend though so hoping to catch up a little. Sorry everyone! Will try and make the rounds this week!

The advantage of breaking ones ribs means time off work:nuts: So I'm finally tackling my backlog of photos that need sorting and filing. My photo 52 collection was a complete disaster area, but I've almost got it sorted. Although I located my original shot for letter that I wasn't going to use (but I like it) and another mineral:bonk:

Now I need to get my backside around everybody's threads!!!

Easy this isn't it?!

Well, there's plenty of room for improvement ;)

Reshoot....I always have a few ideas and one in particular stands out so might look at photographing that one....

Liquid...lots of possibilities for this one, especially long exposure or flash, or a daft one which I've been lacking this year, unlike last year...clicky linky

Yes, but we're only meant to reshoot our own attempts. I'd love to help you out, but you're going to have to reshoot your own I'm afraid ;)

Liquid....given that it's belting it down here currently this should be easy but I got other stuff to do so Liquid will have to wait .


I always get confused with Re-shoots....is a reshoot of exactly the same image but improved or a reshoot of a theme with a different take on said theme :thinking: Not even sure the question makes sense :lol:

Ok so what do you do when the biggest storm in ages passed overhead?...

Run outside with your camera and stand in the down pour taking photos of a puddle, whilst hoping your non weather proof body copes and your kids don't crap themselves in fear of the storm :bonk: :nuts: :eek:
