AlanDorset Week 52 Picture of the Year

That's one impressive egg whisk! Nice one :)

Great shot - at first I thought it was some sort of macabre fairground ride!

Great colour against that rare blue sky.
Things have progressed a bit for turning hay

Good thinking and well executed... the photo, not the car cleaning!

Audio do dat?

Nice one :)

Interesting shot, still have no idea what it is apart from a car part :)

Love it :)

Circles - I really like the composition and processing of this one Alan.
Snappers - great shot of your local art work!

Nice artwork, brewery visit for coffee? Though with the cars it makes sense

Works for me Alan :)

The inclusion of the lady in pink works really well.

Hollow
by Alan Webb, on Flickr

Under the bonnet of a Morgan Three Wheel SuperSport is....literally nothing. The V-Twin engine is out front over the axle. My thanks to Haynes Motor Museum for providing this week's subject matter.

Clever take on the theme Alan :)

Both your Urban and Hollow shots are really interesting Alan, well done.

Urban - I prefer the first shot. It tells a story with the one property full of flowers and the lady in pink. It has realism.
Hollow - good take on the theme. I find the oof foreground a little distracting.
Solid - it certainly is. Good leading lines in the composition.

Thanks Helen. I agree, The Morgan was a difficult subject with low lighting in Haynes Museum and no really clear viewpoint to emphasise the hollow, but thought it was too good a subject not to give it a try

Solid- certainly looks it, good leading lines going down to the signpost

Gates, fits the theme, must be quite unusual to have gates put somewhere in memory of people.

Nice take on the theme Alan, makes me wonder "Why gates?" for a memorial. Is that common, or is there a further backstory?
