I had a quick overnight stay in Newcastle a couple of weeks back for work, so went on a little walkabout in the evening and got these.
I planned to get closer to the Millennium Bridge to something with the sweeping curve of the bridge deck, but this was as close as I got before my bladder told me it's time to turn back, that will teach me for washing dinner down with a couple of pints before hand!

A bridge no more: Mallison Bridge over the Higher Leat where it joins the Exe, closed after dangerous faults were found, then dismantled in 2020 when it was found unsafe to repair...

Underneath a railway bridge our local council decided to make the tunnel more pedestrian friendly by installing these led lights,
The tunnel connects the old shopping area to a newly developed shopping, eating, supermarket housing area. The light are programmed to change colour and "move" along the length of tunnel.
